IC 2010 in INDIA

 Yes, first day of pre - conference is over! It's completely overwhelming and amazing. So many feelings at the same time. A few familiar faces, a lot of new ones. The whole world coming to India, experience sharing, laughter, discussion, sessions, administration, tiredness, excitement, energy, food... 

Actually, I do not feel as if I could express one understandable sentence tonight, but I have the fear that this feeling might increase throughout the conference. 

Just thinking about the fact, that soon we will be 700 delegate flying into India from everywhere in the world. 110 countries represented by faces, those places aren't just demographical terms anymore rather a story, a face, visions, dreams. We come together to discuss, co create, think about the vision of AIESEC 2015. Something which has been quite fluffy for me to a certain extent and - I have to admit - not the biggest sources of excitement! Slowly, and hereby already thanks to our wonderful chair, I understand not only the rational impact but even the emotional connection - to the organization, the people, the idea! 

I will try to keep you updated, but for today I'm just too exhausted - so if you excuse me now ...... 
 

DAY 4

 Can't believe four days have passed, since I was sitting the first time in the office realising that our term has started!
We are still very much on the beginning, trying to understand what we will do, how we will do, who will do what?!

Tons of questions unsolved, a huge need to develop systems to cope with all of those! Have a proper agenda, all
phone number, a good sorting system, process for emails and meetings, to dos/ must dos, and last but not least a
functioning computer!

Stay in the chaos and live within! Guess that's the theme for the next weeks, I am realistic enough to realise that
it will take us a while to finally understand who we are and what we (are supposed to) do!
I'm tired, my head is filled with tousands of questions and ideas, but I'm looking very much forward to another week,
other challenges, google docs, laughter, confussion, meetings, manymoon, emails, emails and again emails!

May the new week begin.....

 

Day 1


Today is the big day: Now I'm officially Member Committee President of AIESEC Sweden 2010 - 11.

Amazing feeling, pretty unreal though! Where to start, what to do first?

Have been waiting for this day, this moment, for this exciting journey to begin! And still, already thoughts about next year cross my mind, where will I be, who will I be? I am pretty aware of the fact that this year will change and shape me, but no clue how! And I love it - a long journey a bit closer to yourself, maybe even to a better you - hopefully ;-)

At least the blog is established, one step a time. Will need to get used to that - guess that could be my first 30 - days challenge ;-) !
